Description

This measure was adapted from the Questionnaire of Adult Attachment Types (Hazan & Shaver, 1987). It is a single-item questionnaire that measures attachment styles of security, avoidance, and anxiety according to Ainsworth et al.’s (1978) verbal descriptions of the three attachment types. Using the original wording, we also created three continuous measures to assess the extent to which each statement is true of the relationship.
